Authorized Phonak & Oticon provider

Smarter hearing technology. Personally fitted.

Conversations move. Rooms get noisy. Life does not stay in a hearing-test booth. Today’s hearing aids use sophisticated sound processing to help you stay connected in those changing situations.

At Expert ENT and Sinus Care, Kim Miller, MS, CCC-A, helps you choose technology around your hearing, daily routines and budget—and adjusts it with you after the fitting.

The best feature is one that helps in your life. Tell Kim about the restaurant, meeting, phone call or family gathering where hearing gets difficult. Those details shape the recommendation.

Useful intelligence, behind the scenes.

Artificial intelligence in hearing aids means trained sound-processing systems that recognize aspects of the listening environment and help adjust hearing support. Depending on the model, that can include speech and noise processing, movement-sensitive adjustments, rechargeable power and direct connection to compatible phones.

The practical question is what those features add for you. A quieter home routine, active professional life and frequent group conversations can lead to different choices. Hearing aids do not restore normal hearing, and even advanced processing has limits in a crowded room. Good fitting and follow-up make the capabilities more useful.

Phonak: responsive to the world around you

Phonak’s Audéo Infinio family brings automatic listening adjustments, rechargeable options and Bluetooth connectivity into a discreet behind-the-ear design.

Infinio Ultra R uses AutoSense OS 7.0, which draws on machine learning to recognize listening situations and adjust processing. Compatible wireless accessories can help bring a speaker’s voice closer in more demanding settings.

Kim will explain the particular model and technology level recommended for your hearing. Features differ across the range; a product-family name alone does not tell you everything about the device.

Oticon: listening support that adapts

Oticon Intent

Oticon Intent uses 4D Sensor technology, drawing on movement, conversation and the sound environment to adapt hearing support as your listening situation changes. Its approach aims to keep speech useful while retaining awareness of the sounds around you.

Compatible devices can support calls and audio streaming. Bring your actual phone to the discussion so Kim can check the connection features that matter to you.

Oticon Reveal

Oticon Reveal’s Dual AI system uses separate Speech AI and Context AI processing to balance speech with environmental sound. It also offers user-intent sensing and rechargeable options. Kim can discuss where Reveal fits alongside other Oticon choices rather than assuming the newest platform is the necessary choice for every patient.

The fitting makes it personal.

We start with a diagnostic hearing evaluation. Kim connects those findings with your priorities, comfort, dexterity, phone use and budget. She explains the recommendation, programs the hearing aids and works through adjustments as you use them in real situations.

Follow-up is part of that process. Tell us what improved and what is still frustrating; useful feedback is more specific than “too loud” or “not enough.” For example, being able to hear a companion but losing their words when music starts gives us something concrete to work on.

Dr. Fewins remains available for medical ear concerns. Testing can often be coordinated with an ENT visit when appropriate and scheduling permits. See how our audiology and ENT care fit together.

Good questions to bring to your visit

  • Which listening situations are most important for me to improve?
  • What would a higher technology level add for those situations?
  • Will this model work with my phone and the way I use it?
  • What is included in the fitting, follow-up, warranty and total price?
  • What are the applicable trial or return terms?
